When you refer a neighbor, family member, or friend to our residential trash service, you both receive one month of service completely free.
There are no limits to this program. If you refer 12 people who establish active service, you will receive an entire year of free residential trash collection.
How the Referral Process Works
We have structured the mechanics of this program to be simple and transparent. To qualify for the mutual account credit, the following sequence must occur:
- Spread the Word: Recommend Prestige Disposal’s residential curbside service to a neighbor or friend in our active Luzerne, Wyoming, or Lackawanna County service footprints.
- They Sign Up: When your referral calls our office or fills out our online sign-up form, they must provide your name as the referral source.
- The 6-Month Maturation: The new customer must maintain their residential trash subscription in good standing for a period of six consecutive months.
- Credits Applied: Upon the completion of the 6-month period, our billing department will automatically apply a one-month service credit to both your account and the new customer’s account.
Program Limitations and Qualifications
To maintain complete transparency, please review the strict qualifications for this promotion:
- Residential Service Only: This program applies strictly to weekly residential trash cart customers. Roll-off dumpster rentals and commercial rear-load dumpster accounts are not eligible for referral credits.
- Active Account Status: Both the referring customer and the new customer must have active accounts in good financial standing at the 6-month mark for the system to process the credit.
- No Retroactive Referrals: The new customer must state your name at the time of initial sign-up. We cannot retroactively apply referral credits to accounts after they have already been established in our routing system.

Operating a heavy-duty refuse fleet involves high fixed costs for fuel, maintenance, and labor.
